By mail or in person

A convenient reply envelope is enclosed with your monthly bill to make paying your bill easier. Bills also may be paid at any of the four Blue Grass Energy locations. You may pay inside or use the convenient drive-through or overnight deposit box.

Paying at local banks

These banks accept only current monthly bill payments:

• Citizens Bank, Jessamine County
• Farmers Bank, Jessamine County
• Farmers Bank, Franklin County
• First National Bank, Bracken County
• Kentucky Bank, All Districts
• Peoples Bank, Madison County
• Peoples Bank, Jackson County
• Town Square Bank, Jessamine County
• United Bank, Woodford County

Payments are credited to your account by 2 p.m. each day. Overdue bills are not payable at these locations.

Paying online

To view and pay your bills online, call Blue Grass Energy and request a password. Then you can pay your bill at bgenergy.com and save time! These payments are posted to your Blue Grass Energy account as soon as they are received. Please contact your financial institution if you have questions regarding payment made through one of these services. For more information, contact your district office.

E-Billing

E-Billing takes online bill payment one step further. On your billing date, you'll receive an email that links you directly to your Blue Grass Energy bill. You have the option of continuing to receive a bill by mail each month.

Change your billing information

If you want your bill to be mailed to a different address, you may change it here.

Levelized budget billing

Take the surprise out of opening your monthly bill with levelized budget billing.Your payment will be averaged into 12 monthly installments throughout the year, eliminating large jumps in your energy costs. To qualify for levelized budget billing, you must be at least a one-year co-op member and have a good payment record.

Automatic bill payment

Have your monthly bill payment deducted from your bank account or charged to your credit card - saving you time and money. It's the same convenient process you may already be using for a car loan, insurance premium or other monthly payment. To sign up for a bank draft, complete an authorization form at any office.

Rates

Kentucky's electric consumers enjoy electric rates that are among the lowest in the nation. These rates vary depending on the type of service being provided. Your specific rate can be found next to your service address on your monthly bill. A complete set of Blue Grass Energy's rates are available in the lobby of each district office.
